What caught my eye this week ...

Krauthammer Argues With O'Reilly on Importance of DebatesFantastic segment.  Favorite Krauthammer quote:  "There is no Olympian Objective Moderator.  They will always have a thumb on the scale whether intentional or not."  When O'Reilly says a "competent moderator" like himself or Krauthammer wouldn't get the thumb on the scale, Krauthammer rightly states "That's not so."

The Smith Family honor Joseph and Emma in Song.  Beautiful music.

What caught my eye this week ...

I have the same concerns as former Democratic pollster and analyst Pat Caddell (even if Hugh Hewitt thinks he's nuts).

Arch Bishop Thomas John Paprocki speaks to Catholic voters.  I especially like how he addressed the "God" vote at the Democratic National Convention.

Aw, I found out why Cul de Sac isn't in the paper anymore.  :(  Best wishes to Richard Thompson.  I'll miss his work tremendously.

Okay, I know there are thousands of hours of funny kitten videos on line.  This one only lasts 36 seconds, but made me laugh.  :)
